how about if they remove the chance of getting non-perf mods, like fortitude, defense, sundering, or furious. And when salvaging, you can choose to get the prefix mod, suffix mod, or the materials.
Also, they should change all shields with a bonus of +xx HP (while in a stance) to +xx HP (always)
how bout it eh?

btw: increase storage space! =p

I LOVE the idea of the charity box to restore Ascalon. I played an RPG game that had something like that in there. The more gold you donated, the better the city looked and it offered better weapons and armor for sale.

The only problem though is that if Ascalon was restored even partially, it might kinda ruin it for the newbies.

Maybe once enough gold is donated, they could build a statue or some other structure, instead of restoring it. There could be places like this all around the game world. Every town and outpost have a collector box to build something new there. It would ensure that it would not happen too fast if the money is spread out.

Maybe the gold could be spent to build a road to a new town? The new town would have new armor and mini games and/or other stuff.

Any way it would be nice to have some type of common goal for everyone to achieve. Even newbs that donate 10 gold could feel like they helped out a little.

Hey, maybe the rebuilding Ascalon thing could cnme with Chapter 2 - that way it wouldn't spoil things for people who have just started out. People who have bought the new chapter will have the map with the old part and the new part and will be able to return to Ascalon to make donations.

Excavations going on here?

Aren't they called Storm Kins (not kilns, a kiln is an oven)?

And Tactical-Dillusions, where did you go? :cries:

I still would love to see this stuff!

"Oh by the way Jesh, those Storm Kilns are nasty for spellcasters. They effectively kill the 55/105 build once and for all. Warriors have a right nasty time with them too because of the clumsiness."

I don't 55, but I use my monk and a SoJ based build.
I Farm the Griffons, Mins, and Storm Kins outside of augury. Kins are a little more hard, but just fake them out with a 1 Sec cast spell or more and you're fine xD

I think a stormkinn maybe over doing it but try putting a sand wurm or two in the griffin area I can almost bet the bot farmers would get rocked there ^^.

i have to disagree with the fund to rebuild ascalon b/c it would mees up the story line, but how about haveing a donation box to build new cities in the non explorable areas?

How about if once you beat the game etc, etc... A 2nd Ascalon city icon pops up right by the old ascalon city icon, so you can choose to go to the new, rebuilt ascalon, or go back to the old one (with all the newbs in it).
